Plymouth stormed back with a 16-9 fourth quarter before falling in overtime in a Saturday girls NLC matchup with Concord, 48-46.
The Lady Pilgrims held a slim one point advantage at halftime, 26-25, thanks to a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Olivia Warner. It was the first lead of the game for Plymouth.
Concord (9-10, 5-1 NLC) responded with an 11-3 third quarter and maintained a ten point lead with three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter before Plymouth cam all the way back to force the extra session. In a low scoring overtime, Concord managed to post the NLC win.
Lydia Wray and Chloe Horton tied for team scoring honors with 13 apiece. Warner scored nine. Horton and Scruggs each pulled down eight rebounds for Plymouth (8-10, 2-3 NLC).
