Pilgrims run in NLC meet SYRACUSE - NLC competition began Tuesday night at Wawasee for both the boys and girls cross country teams of Plymouth. Both teams competed against Northridge and the host Warriors. The boys won both meets on the night as they defeated Northridge 23-34 and also defeated Wawasee 19-42. Konnor Ray was the overall winner in the race with a time of 17:04 over the 5K distance. Jonah Howard (5th), David Schadek (6th), Brady Hissong (7th), and Robby Richards (8th) rounded out the Pilgrim scoring. The Pilgrim girls fell in both their meets Tuesday night. They lost to Wawasee 23-36 and fell to Northridge 18-43. Ashley Rosas was the top Pilgrim runner finishing 4th in the 5K in 21:19. Summer South (11th), Fatima Ramirez (12th), Audrey Yadon (20th), and Ella Hissong (24th) rounded out the Pilgrim scoring. The wins keep the boys undefeated at 2-0 in the NLC and 4-0 overall. The girls are now 0-2 in the NLC and 0-3 overall. Next up is another NLC meet at Northwood next week on Tuesday. Start time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
