Good luck to Ryan Farrar of Lawrenceville as he competes for Team Illinois in the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Farrar is a powerlifter and is one of 57 athletes from Illinois selected to represent the state at the national competition, which begins on Saturday, June 20th and runs through Friday, June 26th.
The 2026 Special Olympics USA Games will bring together around 3,000 athletes, 1,500 of their coaches, 10,000 volunteers and over 75,000 spectators from all 50 states to watch the competition and celebrate the power of inclusion through sports.
