They beat the host Bluestreaks 8-4 in non-conference action.
The Tribe scored 8 runs on 11 hits and made 3 errors while Martinsville scored 4 times on 5 hits and also made 3 errors.
Boston Gray had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Maddox Pargin 2 hits and a RBI and Emery Ivers 2 hits to pace the Indian offense.
The win improves the Indians to 8-5 on the season with their scheduled Little Illini Conference (LIC) game scheduled for Monday May 5th with Newton at Unit 20 Ballpark postponed due to rain.
