The 2026 Illinois high school volleyball season is underway after a Lawrence County battle to open the schedule Monday, August 24th in Lawrenceville.
The Lawrenceville Lady Indians got off to a solid start of the year with a sweep of the county rival Red Hill Lady Salukis. The hosts won the JV contest 25-16, 25-12 and the varsity match 25-11, 25-9.
The Lady Indians are right back at it Tuesday, August 25th when they travel to Altamont while the Lady Salukis return home to Bridgeport to open the 2026 home schedule Thursday, August 27th against Hutsonville at Red Hill Jr/Sr High School Gymnasium.
