Judith Supinie, age 74, passed away at her home in Blairsville, GA on Saturday August 22, 2026.
Judith Supinie, age 74, passed away at her home in Blairsville, GA on Saturday August 22, 2026. Judy was born on December 4, 1951, in Lawrenceville, IL, the daughter of Betty Lou Higginbotham Supinie and the late Frank Supinie. Judy retired as a teacher with the Bonita Springs (FL) School System with thirty-six years of service. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt, and was very close to her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Supinie and her sister-in-law, Lori Supinie.
Judy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Blairsville. She was an avid reader and bridge player and was very active in her church. She was also a longtime member of a German Club and tutored many students in math.
Surviving Judy are her mother, Betty Supinie of Lawrenceville, IL, her sister, Anne Oker of Lawrenceville, IL, two brothers, Andy Supinie of Wichita, KS (companion Tina Neeley) and John Supinie (Marcia Martinez) of Lawrenceville, IL. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Joe (Amber) Oker, Charlie (Chelsea) Oker, Tim (Heather) Supinie, Julie (Andrew) Scherer, Amy Jachino and Nick (Katie) Jachino, and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
