A wrong-way driver on U.S. 30 was arrested by Marshall County Police at 12:23 a.m. Wednesday.
The Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call for a wrong-way driver on U.S. 30. The dispatcher was told that the vehicle was in the eastbound lanes going westbound from State Road 331.
Marshall County Deputies responded to the area, and Deputy Williams located the vehicle near Hawthorn Road on U.S. 30 and was able to get the vehicle safely stopped.
Alysson Nicole Nutting, age 28, of Bourbon, was driving the vehicle, which also had a toddler inside. Nutting was found to have been under the influence of alcohol. A certified chemical test was administered, and she had a BAC of .203.
Alysson Nutting was booked into Marshall County Jail on the charges of reckless driving, neglect of a dependent, OWI, with a passenger less than 18 years of age, and operating with a BAC of .15% or greater. Her cash bond was set at $3,000.
