The Vincennes City Fire Department has a new lieutenant. The Board of Works and Safety Monday evening approved the promotion of Corey Taylor to that rank. He has been involved in over 20 years of EMS and firefighting service and has been with the VFD since 2018. He replaces Brian Boger, who retired after over 20 years on the department.
