Lawrence County States Attorney Brady Waldrop has announced the sentencing of two local women to prison in Lawrence County Circuit Court (LCCC). 24 year old Danielle Russell of Bridgeport was sentenced on a charge of Unlawful Possession Of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 Illinois Felony. She had been placed on felony probation but violated the terms and was given 3 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release. 50 year old Sherri Wirth of Lawrenceville was charged with Methamphetamine Delivery, a Class 1 Illinois Felony. She was given 10 years in the IDOC to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release.
