Drivers who travel State Road 10 between State Road 23 and State Road 17 should plan for a road closure beginning next week as Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews conduct seal coat operations in the area.
The work is scheduled to begin on or after Monday, August 24th, with scrub seal operations expected to take approximately two days. Crews will be working from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes during the closure. The recommended state road detour route is State Road 23 to State Road 8 to State Road 17.
INDOT notes that the work is weather-sensitive, so the schedule is subject to change depending on conditions. Drivers are encouraged to stay alert for updates and plan extra travel time if they need to use the detour route.
