A 34-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested on a felony warrant for intimidation on September 22nd.
At about 12 a.m. Sunday morning, multiple officers with the Plymouth Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff's Department attempted to serve an arrest warrant issued for Sharlotte A. Preston of West Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
One of the Marshall County Judges was recently threatened. After an investigation was completed and Preston was identified as making threats to one of the county’s judges a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Preston was located at approximately 2 a.m. by Corporal Schieber with the Plymouth Police Department. He was able to take her into custody without incident, transported her to the Marshall County Jail, and booked her in for intimidation with a $3,000 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
