Lawrence County has completed its tax deed proceedings on real estate on real estate properties delinquent in 2021 and mobile homes that were delinquent in 2022 on their real estate taxes.
The county will now offer the 14 parcels of real estate and 14 mobile homes for sale to the public through a sealed bid auction. All sealed written bids must be in to the Lawrence County Treasurer's Office located in the Lawrence County Courthouse Annex at 1106 Jefferson Street, Lawrenceville, Illinois 62439 no later than the close of business on Friday, February 13th, 2026. Online bids can be submitted via www.iltaxsalebids.com no later than the close of business also on Friday, February 13th.
The required minimum bid on the real estate is $822.00 and for the mobile homes $915.00. All items will be sold to the highest sealed bid received on or before February 13th. Complete bid packages and sale catalogs are now available at the Lawrence County Treasurer's office or online at www.iltaxsale.com.
