On Thursday, October 10, at approximately 8:50 in the evening, the Marshall County Sheriff's Department received a call for an unknown problem at a residence in the 18,000 block of Lincoln Highway.
Marshall County Deputies responded and investigated the incident. It was determined that Raymond L. Buck Jr., 27, had battered a significant other at the residence in front of children under the age of 16.
Raymond Buck was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child less than 16 years of age and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
