The Plymouth Plan Commission will send the City Council a favorable recommendation to rezone a 1.73-acre parcel of land on Broadway Street following Wednesday night’s meeting.
The property is owned by 3 Cramer, LLC and Dale Cramer appeared before the board seeking the zoning change from I-industrial to R-3 traditional residential. He has a purchase agreement for the property and the new owners would like to build a single-family home on the site.
Plymouth Planning Consultant Ralph Booker said city utilities are available at the location.
There were no comments during the public hearing and the Plan Commission unanimously approved a motion sending a favorable recommendation to the Plymouth City Council to rezone the lot between 929 and 1027 Broadway Street from industrial to traditional residential.

City Plan Commission members also approved a resolution amending the Declaratory Resolution adding $250,000 for the Lifelong Learning Networks’ Career Innovation Center. The TIF funds will be used to purchase specialized furnishings and equipment for the learning centers. There is also $100,000 for InFocus to assist the city next year on various projects.
