Saturday, February 2nd is National Missing Persons Day, a day centered around attempting to find those across the country who cannot be found or located and reported as missing. There are two area missing person cases still unresolved. One is the disappearance of 33 year old Jared McColloch. The Marion, Louisiana native has been missing since November 5th of 2023 when he was last seen at several locations in southeastern Illinois. His truck was discovered abandoned on November 6th near the Wabash River in Knox County Indiana. There is a $1000 reward being offered for information leading to McColloch. Call (618) 367-1828. Olney Police are on the lookout for a missing female Olney teen. 15 year old Emily Cochran was last seen at her East Frankin Street residence late Wednesday, January 31st. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact (618) 393-2921.
