A routine warrant service in Argos on Saturday evening escalated into a multi-agency manhunt after the suspect fled on foot, ultimately resulting in the arrest of three individuals.
At approximately 7:45 p.m., Marshall County Sheriff's officers attempted to serve a warrant at a residence at 13680 Michigan Road in Argos. Upon arrival, the suspect, Jeremy D. Swank, 46, of Rochester, fled from the residence into a neighboring field, prompting a coordinated search involving officers from the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, the Fulton County Sheriff's Department, and the Plymouth Police Department.
The manhunt led officers to a second location at 185 West Marshall Street in Argos, where Swank was located and taken into custody on his outstanding warrants as well as on additional charges.
During the course of the investigation, two other individuals at the scene — Randa Lee Jones, 31, of the 400 block of Marshall Street in Argos, and Christopher S. Van Lue, 36, of the 185 Marshall Street address were also taken into custody on charges related to hindering the investigation. All three were transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Swank was held on a $1,500 cash bond for obstruction of justice, resisting law enforcement, and two out-of-county holds.

Jones was booked into the Marshall County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, false reporting, and obstruction of justice and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
Van Lue was issued a $500 cash bond for assisting a criminal.

Charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
