A Walkerton motorcyclist was airlifted Saturday after he collided with a tractor operated by a Rochester driver.
The collision happened in the 15,000 block of U.S. 6, west of Pine Road just after 2:30 p.m.
Marshall County Police say Michael Fisher, 38, was riding a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle. As he attempted to pass a 2020 Massey-Ferguson tractor driven by Cable Gardner, 20, of Rochester, when the collision occurred.
Lutheran Air landed at the scene and transported Fisher to the trauma center at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department did not release the condition of the motorcyclist.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the scene by the Walkerton Police Department, Polk Township Fire and EMS, Lutheran Air Ambulance, and Reichert-Knepp Towing.
