According to the Indiana Department of Health, nine confirmed measles cases have been reported in three Indiana counties: three each in Parke County, Switzerland County, and Wayne County.
No cases have been reported in Marshall County at this time.

Health officials are paying particular attention to one group that may not be fully protected. People vaccinated between 1957 and 1968 might have received an older, inactivated (killed) vaccine type that does not provide long-lasting immunity.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends a second MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) dose if you travel internationally, work in healthcare, or live in an active measles outbreak area.
If you do not know whether you received the live vaccine or an older inactivated version during the late 1950s or 1960s, health officials often suggest getting an updated MMR vaccine dose rather than doing a blood test.
