A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until midnight for Marshall County.
Heavy snow is expected with total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches although there could be isolated higher amounts of around 10 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 45 mph for portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and northwest Ohio until midnight tonight.
Travel will be very difficult due to heavy snow rates of 1 inch per hour or more. The hazardous conditions will impact the evening commute.
There are also warning of gusty winds that may bring down tree branches.
If you must travel Marshall County EMA urges citizens to keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in their vehicle in case of an emergency.
