The Marshall County Republican Party (MCGOP) will host a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Thursday, October 10, at the Swan Lake Resort and Conference Center, 5203 Plymouth LaPorte Trail, Plymouth. The event will begin with a social hour at 5:00 p.m.
Republican candidates on the ballot in Marshall County will begin speaking at 6:00 P.M. Each candidate will have a dedicated time to talk and introduce themselves, providing information about their platforms and priorities. So far, the following candidates have confirmed participation: State Senator Mike Bohacek, Superior Court I Judge Tami Napier, Circuit Court Judge Janette Surrisi, County Coroner Dean Byers, County Surveyor Craig Cultice, County Treasurer Sandra Dodson, County Commissioner District 2 Adam Faulstich, County Commissioner District 3 Jesse Bohannon, County Council At-Large Tim Harman, Jim Masterson and Brandon Schadek. Indiana GOP Party Chairman Randy Head will be the guest speaker.
Uncommitted candidates for the event include US Representative District 2 Rudy Yakym, State Senator District 9 Ryan Mishler, State Representative District 7 Jake Teshka, and State Representative District 17 Jack Jordan.
This event is free to all Marshall County residents, and light hors d’oeuvres will be available. The Candidates Night is sponsored by US Representative District 2 Rudy Yakym, State Senator District 8 Mike Bohacek, State Senator District 9 Ryan Mishler, and County Council At-Large Jim Masterson.
