Marshall County Relay for Life is launching its fundraising efforts with the annual American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days.
The American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days is a fundraiser for cancer research, patient support, and advocacy. The campaign also aims to bring hope to cancer patients and their families.
The daffodil is the first flower of spring and a symbol of hope. Celebrating Daffodil Days is about much more than enjoying beautiful flowers; it's about sharing hope for a world free from cancer.
Locally, you can get involved by purchasing a bunch of 10 daffodils for $15. You can also purchase a vase for $5 or something new this year: the Gift of Hope. For a $25 donation, flowers will be donated to a local cancer center, hospital, or nursing home.
To order daffodils, call Joan at 574-229-2846 or Betty Kay at 574-780-6452. The daffodils can be picked up on March 20, at the 1st United Methodist Church Education Building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The deadline for ordering is March 1.
