Deputy Williams with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the 18,000 block of Latonka Trail in Culver Monday for a possible battery of a child.
At approximately 7:15 Monday evening, Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a call from a female about the possible battery of a child in the 18,000 block of Latonka Trail.
Deputy Williams investigated and found a child who had been hit in the face with a phone charging cord, causing extensive swelling and marks.
Marshall County Deputies arrested 28-year-old Kylie Sanchez of the Latonka Trail address for domestic battery against a family member under the age of 14. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.
