Jennifer L. Mougin, 41, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in I.U. Health Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis, IN.
Jennifer was born to Michael and Deborah (Hayn) Mougin on September 11, 1982 in Plymouth, IN. She graduated from Plymouth High School in 2001 and received an associate degree in science from Ancilla College. She worked as a waitress. She enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, baking, crafts, music, she loved animals, and spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer will be dearly missed by her mother, Deborah (Dan) Martin of Plymouth, IN; her daughters: Lily Mougin of South Bend, IN; Mary-Jane Loftus of Toledo, OH; her paternal grandmother, Darlene Cole of Bradenton, FL; her brothers, Jacob (Merry) Mougin of Indianapolis, IN; Joshua (honorary sister, Heather) Mougin of Rolling Prairie, IN; her boyfriend, Todd Hess of South Bend, IN; her nieces and nephews: Jayden Mougin; Sage Mougin; Avery Mougin; Michael Mougin; Elijah Mougin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Joey.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Michael Mougin; her maternal grandparents: Paul and Dorothy Hayn; and her cat, Mary.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563).
A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Chuck Krieg officiating.
