GIANT fm WTCA is proud to announce the engagement of Jarin Matheny as our Plymouth High School Baseball sports announcer.
Jarin is a 2020 graduate of Ball State University, where he got his degree in digital sports production through the sports link program. He spent the last 3 years calling baseball and softball games in Jamestown, ND for the local high school and college while working for i3G Media.
Prior to moving to North Dakota, Matheny spent two summers as the voice of the Green Bay Booyah in the Northwoods League. During the first summer, he was named the play-by-play broadcaster of the year.
Originally from Huntington, Jarin Matheny graduated from Huntington North in 2017 and called football, basketball, and baseball for the high school radio station, WVSH.
Matheny said, “I am super excited to be the voice of Plymouth baseball this year and to bring the games to life on WTCA!”
