The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) began an intersection improvement project on Monday at State Road 9 and Colescott Street.
The project is expected to take approximately 18 days to complete. The intersection will remain open to traffic throughout construction, but drivers should use caution and allow additional time when traveling through the work zone.
Improvements include widening the intersection radii to improve turning movements and adding a dedicated left-turn lane for northbound State Road 9 traffic turning onto Colescott Street.
