Beginning on or after Thursday evening, October 9, contractors will close individual lanes in both directions on I-70 between U.S. 41 (Exit 7) and U.S. 40/State Road 46/S.R. 641 (Exit 11).
The closures will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. to repair damaged guardrail.
Work is anticipated to last until the morning hours but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution and drive distraction-free in and around work zones.
