The Illinois Department of Transportation reports that a Crawford County railroad crossing repair project is expected to get underway Monday.
The repairs will be made on Illinois Route 1 at Gordon Junction east of Robinson.
Indiana Railroad crews are expected to begin work on the crossing to relieve water issues at the location, weather permitting.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers on hand to help with traffic control. Those traveling are asked to be aware and cautious and be prepared for possible delays.
If all goes well, work should be completed on Thursday.
