A man was killed in a fall from a tree stand while deer hunting in Starke County.
Indiana Conservation officers are investigating the incident after first responders were called to the 3500 block of S. 700 E. in Knox. Larry Sedwick, 53, of Cedar Lake, fell from an elevated tree stand. The report states that he was not wearing a full-body safety harness
The Starke County Sheriff’s Office, Starke County Coroner’s Office, Starke County EMS, and Knox Police Department responded to the scene.
