Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb was in Brazil Wednesday to award a part of more than $200 million in Community Crossing Grants
It's awarded to cities and counties in this area. Clay, Vigo, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Knox counties each received $1.5 million. Parke County received over $1.13 million. The counties and communities use these grants to make improvements to local roads and bridges.
