Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes has announced that it is requiring face masks in all outpatient waiting areas within the hospital.
The new policy is effective immediately.
Hospital officials say the precautionary measure is being taken due to a substantial increase in cases of respiratory illness within the community.
Patients and visitors can obtain masks at the reception areas in the Health Pavilion, Emergency Department and Sixth Street entrances.
