My future plans include establishing a dedicated shop in Cloverdale or Greencastle.
For Brian Ladd, the opportunity to tint people's vehicles is truly a dream come true and something he has been working on for years before launching his professional venture.
"I began my journey into the world of window tinting during during the early summer months, right around the transition from spring. My experience began with a company specializing in high-quality window films known as Scorpion Protective Coatings. Initially, I experimented with some discarded tint and decided to try tinting my truck at home after watching a few instructional videos on YouTube. Realizing the need for proper tools, I promptly ordered a variety of tinting tools from Amazon. Once they arrived, I set to work tinting my truck, and the results were surprisingly impressive. It was at that moment that I recognized the potential to establish my own business in this field," Ladd told The Putnam County Post.
Ladd said to hone his skills, he began tinting the vehicles of family and friends before deciding to launch his professional venture -- Gladddiator Tinting.
"The name was inspired by a childhood dream shared with my father of starting a fishing bait company called Gladddiator Baits, combining my last name, Ladd, with the strength of a Gladiator. Although the bait company never materialized, the name resurfaced years later as the perfect fit for my window tinting business. The high-quality and durable film we use perfectly complements the services we offer," Ladd said.
Ladd admits he utilized social media platforms to showcase his work and generate interest with the hopes of attracting customers. The hard work paid off, as appointments have been filling his schedule, he said.
"Balancing my full-time job at Scorpion with my growing business, I strategically managed my workload, reserving weekends for multiple tinting appointments. The protective film we apply not only enhances the aesthetics of the vehicle but also provides added privacy, UV protection, and temperature regulation," Ladd said.
Ladd said there is one thing that sets him apart from others, and that is his competitive pricing.
"What truly drives me is the satisfaction of my customers and the joy they experience when they see their transformed vehicles. In addition to automotive tinting, I also offer architectural tinting services, providing a range of options for residential and commercial properties. These films not only enhance privacy but also contribute to energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal," Ladd said.
Ladd said those wishing to utilize his services can reach him at Brian Ladd on Facebook or call him at 765-684-1019.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to share my journey from humble beginnings to becoming a young CEO. My future plans include establishing a dedicated shop in Cloverdale or Greencastle, but for now, I continue to operate out of my home garage, delivering top-notch window tinting services to my valued customers," Ladd said.
