INDOT has informed the City of Greencastle that they will be closing the intersections of College Ave. and US-231 and Locust St. and US-231 Friday. As of Thursday, traffic could cross these intersections, but not go east and west. However, starting Friday morning they will close these two intersections completely for 1-2 days, while they repair a manhole.
Also, INDOT has informed the City that the intersection at Bloomington St. and Washington St. will be closed on Friday to repair manholes. This repair is only expected to take one day, and then the intersection will be reopened again for traffic traveling south and east.
