County police arrested a Fort Wayne man for marijuana on Monday night, February 10th.
At approximately 11:25 PM, Marshall County Officer Wozniak initiated a traffic stop on U.S. 30 at Michigan Street involving a red 2000 Toyota passenger car. During the investigation, officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and located suspected marijuana. The front-seat passenger, Jadon B. Fitch, 21, of Fort Wayne, was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for possession of marijuana. He was booked at 12:04 a.m. and released after posting bond at 1:03 a.m.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has occurred. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to representation by counsel, as well as a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
