A suspected intoxicated man riding an E-bike Saturday afternoon, January 4th in downtown Plymouth was arrested by city police after he failed to stop for officers.
Officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to the area of Michigan Street and LaPorte Street just before 3 for a male party that appeared to be highly intoxicated. When officers arrived in the area and spoke to the caller, they said the male subject was on an E-Bike riding into traffic and about to be hit.
Officers located the male party riding on Michigan Street coming up to Oakhill and causing traffic to go into oncoming traffic to avoid him. The male was identified as Jeremy Foor, 31, of Plymouth. Foor turned into Oakhill Cemetery where the officer tried to conduct a traffic stop but he didn’t stop right away.
During the investigation, it was determined that Foor was highly intoxicated and a danger to himself and others. He was placed under arrest for public intoxication after he blew on a portable breath test with a .303 result.
Foor was transported to Plymouth Hospital for medical clearance due to his intoxication level. When he was medically cleared, he was transported to Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for operating while intoxicated.
