Terre Haute, In. – Things will soon be a lot brighter along 3rd street in Terre Haute.
Crews from Duke Energy are installing new LED streetlights and aluminum poles between the split with State Road 63 on the north side and Interstate 70 on the south. Duke says the new LED lights will not only be brighter but will also use less energy and require less maintenance. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by the end of the week.
