The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Heat Advisory for the entire GIANT-FM listening area Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures are forecast to be in the low to mid 90s across the region with high humidity levels both days. This combination of hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illness, especially for those who are outdoors for lengthy periods of time. The heat indices are expected to be from 105 to 107 degrees during the afternoon and early evening hours. if you must be outside, drink plenty of fluids (especially water), stay out of the direct sunlight and do not overexert.
