Culver’s Clerk-Treasurer Karen Heim reminds citizens that Lake Shore Drive is closed to through traffic between State Road 10 and Academy Road.
The contractor is working to maintain access to Park and Shop and First National Bank of Monterey.
In order to access Park and Shop and First National Bank of Monterey, traffic will travel north to south, entering from State Road 10 and exiting toward Academy Road.
The official detour around that section of Lake Shore Drive is via School Street and Academy Road.
The Town of Culver realizes this is an inconvenience, especially to the business owners. They appreciate the business owners' cooperation as well as the drivers.
