The Marshall County Council meets today at 5:30 p.m. in the second-floor meeting room of the county building. Members will get a quarterly report from Greg Hildebrand, CEO of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.
The Highway, Budget and Finance, and Job Classification and Compensation subcommittees are scheduled to give reports. Council members also will consider additional and transfer of appropriations, and an amendment to the 2024 Salary Ordinance. The agenda includes the establishment of a new fund for Title IV-E Incentive Payments, along with a discussion on dormant funds.
Council members will consider approval of a joint resolution honoring former U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski, approval of invoices from Lebbin Law, and an appointment to the Bourbon Public Library Board. The council also offers an opportunity for the public to ask questions and make comments.
The county council meeting is open to the public and streamed live through the county’s website at www.co.marshall.in.us.
