The Marshall County Council held a special meeting Monday morning, December 30th to approve an ordinance for transfers.
The meeting lasted less than 3 minutes including the opening prayer and pledge.
Council President Jesse Bohannon said the only item was an ordinance approving year-end transfers. After asking if there was any transfer that should be removed for individual consideration the council approved all 23 transfers as a consent agenda without discussion.
The smallest transfer was under the LIT Special Purpose for $15 from Jail Lease Rental Bond to Wages Bookkeeper while the largest transfer was under Medical Benefits Self-Insurance from Auxiant Weekly to Stop Loss Premium for $73,248.65.
Some other transfers include under Cum Cap Development, $38,900 from vehicle purchase to software maintenance and $23,987 from Computer Equipment to Software Maintenance. Under the Sheriff’s Budget were transfers of $19,528 from Vehicle Repair to Wages Patrol Officers, $1,471 from Wages Overtime to Wages Patrol Officers, and $2,000 from Computer Equipment to Wages Patrol Officers.
