Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) released the following statement Thursday after supporting House Joint Resolution 35 (H.J. Res. 35), a Congressional Review Act (CRA) that will cut energy costs and support President Trump’s pro-energy agenda.
"The Biden Administration took extreme measures to dismantle the fossil fuel industry, waging a four-year war on American energy," Congressman Yakym said. "His burdensome natural gas tax stifled technological innovation, weakened our energy independence, and drove up costs for the hardworking Hoosiers of Indiana’s Second District. Now, with President Trump back in office, it's time to restore American energy dominance and eliminate this harmful tax."
