Officers with the Plymouth Police Department arrested two individuals in separate traffic stops on Wednesday, November 13th.
At approximately 2:10 a.m. November 13th Officer Fase with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of U.S. 30 and Oak Drive on a vehicle that was traveling 78-miles per hour in a 50-mph zone.
The Chicago driver, Fallou Mbacke, 34, was found to have never received a valid driver's license. Mbacke was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. He was booked on a charge of operator never licensed and bonded out 26 minutes later.

At approximately 4:30 A.M. Wednesday, Officer Wallace with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was traveling north on Michigan Street near Airport Road. During the stop it was discovered that the female driver, 31-year-old Karen Turcios Martinez, of West Washington Street in Plymouth was operating the vehicle without ever obtaining a driver’s license.
Martinez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail where she was lodged for operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a license. She was held on $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
