The Plymouth Park Department had decided to extend the hours of operation for the pool in Centennial Park this week, even with school starting, but an unforeseen breakdown has changed their plans.
The park had decided to try being open after school on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with the last day open being this Saturday.
Unfortunately, the pool's last day was Tuesday. The pool pump, which is on its last legs, broke, and the fix will take a few days.
The Plymouth Park Department will have the pool pump fixed for next season, but it won't be ready for the next few days when the pool is supposed to be open.
