The city of Bridgeport has informed GIANT-FM WAKO News that the recent boil order has now been lifted as of Friday as of Friday January 31st.
It was imposed on Tuesday January 28th and affected water customers on Adams Street south of Illinois Route 250 to Wealthy Street.
It continued from Wealthy Street south on Adams, Monroe and Madison Streets to 5th Street.
