Beginning February 13, Bowen Health will host an online course designed to help first responders and their families cope with job-related trauma.
First Responder REBOOT is a free 12-week, online, peer-led course that will meet on Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. facilitated by Bowen Health therapist Paul Painter.
Unaddressed trauma is a root cause of suicide, especially among first responders and members of the military. The practical tools and teaching used in this course are specifically designed for those within the law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency communications, hospital emergency, and corrections communities.
