The Argos Fire Territory invites the community to an Open House at the Argos Fire Station this Saturday, October 24, to celebrate an exciting year of accomplishments.
The event will run from 12 PM to 4 PM at the Argos Fire Station, 101 S. First Street in Argos. Fire officials encourage the public to bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun and recognition.
The celebration will honor three significant milestones. Ella Dean of Argos will be recognized as the Indiana Volunteer Firefighter Association's State Miss Flame. The department will also showcase its new fire truck, Engine 25. The event will also celebrate Denis Good's incredible 50 years of service to the department.
Free hot dogs, cake, and lemonade will be served, and activities are planned for all ages.
Fire officials say the open house is an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the people and accomplishments that make Argos Fire Territory special. They look forward to seeing residents there.
