'Of all the many exciting innovations and expansions arising out of 4C Health over the years, the creation of our new Inpatient Unit in Peru is near the top.'
4C Health announces the relocation of its inpatient psychiatric unit and psychiatric urgent care services from Logansport to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Peru.
The opening, which is set to take effect on Monday, Sept. 30, 2024, reflects 4C Health's continued commitment to expanding and enhancing mental health services to meet the growing needs of the communities it serves.
The new facility in Peru will offer the same level of care and treatment that 4C Health is known for, while providing expanded space, advanced technology and an improved therapeutic environment for patients. With this relocation, 4C Health will be able to better serve individuals in need of immediate psychiatric care and those requiring inpatient mental health treatment.
“We are thrilled to announce the relocation and opening of our Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (IPU) and Psychiatric Urgent Care (PUC) in Peru. With a dedicated team of professionals who focus on care that is compassionate, competent and collaborative, 4C Health will continue to serve all of our communities by offering access to inpatient and crisis stabilization care in its new location," Chief Clinical Officer Nicole Hiatt-Drang said.
Key features of the new facility:
• Expanded access: The move to Peru offers a more centrally located facility, making it more accessible to surrounding communities in the region.
• Modern amenities: The new location includes updated treatment rooms, private consultation spaces and enhanced patient-centered care environments.
• Enhanced services: Psychiatric Urgent Care will continue to offer immediate care for those experiencing a mental health crisis, with expanded hours and resources.
• Inpatient care: The facility will maintain its dedicated inpatient psychiatric unit for individuals requiring intensive treatment and stabilization.
“Of all the many exciting innovations and expansions arising out of 4C Health over the years, the creation of our new Inpatient Unit in Peru is near the top. Besides providing essential mental health care for local communities in an updated facility, the eventual addition of inpatient and urgent care for adolescents will address a vital need," Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kathleen Miller said.
The current location in Logansport will officially close on Sept. 27. During the transition, 4C Health will ensure that all patients continue to receive uninterrupted care and support. The new address for this facility is 1000 N. Broadway, Peru.
If you or a loved one is in crisis or requires immediate care, 4C Health staff are available at the new location, or you can call our toll-free number at 800-552-3106, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
