A two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on the U.S. 31 off-ramp to U.S. 6 eastbound sent one driver to the hospital, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
On Tuesday, September 1, at approximately 6:47 a.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle accident at the off-ramp from U.S. 31 to U.S. 6 eastbound.
When Officer Heygood arrived on scene, it was learned that a 2022 Peterbilt semi tractor-trailer driven by 63-year-old Stephen Gasper of Bargersville had run into the rear of a 2011 Toyota Camry driven by 57-year-old Joanna Garcia of North Judson while exiting the ramp.
Garcia had complaints of neck pain and was transported to the hospital to receive additional care for her injuries.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by LaPaz EMS and the Indiana State Police.
