Marshall County Deputy Nick Laffoon investigated a single-vehicle accident on Saturday, November 8th.
A 1994 GMC pickup truck was southbound on Tamarack Road, south of Tyler Road, and drove off the west side of the road, striking a tree. Physical evidence indicated that a possible mechanical failure of the pickup truck contributed to the collision.
The 17-year-old male juvenile was transported from the scene to Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Polk Township Fire and Walkerton EMS and Police assisted the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
