The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce will host a Third House Meeting on Wednesday, March 4th, at noon at the Marshall County Museum & Historical Center.
Third House meetings are public forums that provide residents with direct access to their state legislators to discuss current legislative issues and recent activity at the Indiana State House. These meetings typically occur during the legislative session, which runs from January through March or April.
The March 4th gathering will give Marshall County residents an opportunity to hear updates from their representatives about legislation being considered and passed during the current session. Citizens will also have the chance to ask questions and share their concerns directly with lawmakers.
"These meetings provide a direct line of communication between lawmakers and the people they represent," according to the Chamber of Commerce announcement.
The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce encourages all citizens to attend to stay informed about state legislation that may impact Marshall County and the surrounding region.
The Marshall County Museum & Historical Center is located at 123 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.
