Impact Grant recipients announced by Putnam County Community Foundation

The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) announced its 2026 Community Impact Grant recipients, awarding over $230,000 to community partners serving Putnam County.

The Community Impact Grants program is a competitive funding program designed to support local organizations working to meet community needs through broad, flexible grantmaking. Grants awarded through the program are funded by PCCF’s Community Impact funds, which are unrestricted endowments created for the general benefit of the community. Additional support is provided by select Field of Interest Funds established by donors to address specific areas of interest.

This year’s awards will support a wide range of projects and programs focused on housing stability, education, public safety, community spaces, accessibility, youth development, and nonprofit capacity.

The 2026 Community Impact Grant recipients are:

• Beyond Homeless, Inc. – Homeless Prevention Program
• Cloverdale Community Schools – Cloverdale Community Schools Knoy After-School Program
• Cummins Behavioral Health Systems – Putnam County Jail Reentry Skills, Recovery, and Support Program
• Family Support Services of West Central Indiana – Access to Action
• Fuller Center for Housing of Putnam County – Remodels and Rehabs
• Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church – Second Century Commitment
• Grace Tabernacle, Inc. – Sprouts of Grace Playground Expansion (Matching Grant)
• Greencastle Presbyterian Church – Keyless Entry System for GPC Community Partners
• Greencastle Presbyterian Church – SAWs Building Expansion and Tool Replacement
• Ivy Tech Foundation – Dual Enrollment for Putnam County Students
• Putnam County Emergency Management Agency – Animals in Disaster, Preparedness and Response Initiative Putnam County
• Putnam County Fair Board – Putnam County Revitalization Project

PCCF’s Grants Committee reviews applications from eligible organizations and recommends grant awards to the Board of Directors for final approval. The Community Impact Grants program supports PCCF’s continued commitment to making strategic investments that respond to local needs and strengthen quality of life across Putnam County.

“More than funding for individual projects, these grants represent the ways our community continues to care for one another, plan for the future, and invest in the places as well as organizations that make Putnam County stronger,” said Jenny Neureiter, Director of Donor and Grantee Services at PCCF. “Each award supports work that is rooted in real community needs, and together, these investments help build momentum toward a healthier, more resilient Putnam County.”
